Innovation and growth are at the heart of the Brightlands Chemelot Campus. Its dynamic community works on solutions that contribute to a more sustainable world and healthier people. Technician Chantalle Zwarthoed teaches students all the ins and outs of 3D printing at CHILL, where students and business work together on societal projects.

“Within CHILL’s laboratories, we research the possibilities to make products from biodegradable materials or one material solely, so they can be recycled much better.” For existing products, the company examines new ways of manufacturing to make recycling easier. It also built a recycling line to breathe new life into recycling in the neighbourhood.

 

“My personal dream? For all to deal with their waste consciously. It is the little things we can do to make the world a better place.”
