A Great Pick

Images: Laurent Stevens

One day each Autumn it happens. In Winselerhof’s vineyard, a curious crowd reaches for the ripe Müller Thurgau grapes. General Manager plucks together with guests, volunteers team up with local residents. The result? A harvest that equals 600 litres of wine.

It’s a tribute to the region’s age-old winegrowing tradition. Of the fresh and sparkling Bollicine di Pirandello that emerges after fermentation, all pickers receive a bottle the next year.

Thirsty too? Visit our country estate’s Restaurants and Bar where this wine is exclusively available.

Photographer Laurent Stevens joined the party and captured this special tradition. Fun fact: one of these photographs made it to the cover of the '24 print edition of Collection.
